Hustles of the Student life

The whole new start to the new phase of your student life. The new city, new friends, new accommodation, and everything new. 

All this newness that comes is inevitable and becomes a part of the starting college life experience. Once you are settled in your new student accommodation, you start feeling comfortable and have a sense of belonging to the new city. Then you are bonding with your peers over coffee or lunch or even over drinks. 

Friends

Before you know you are bonding over movies, and series and making shopping plans and whatnot. You need friends no matter what. You need someone to have those late-night-deep drunk conversations. You need a shoulder to cry on after a break-up or a bad day. Someone to share your random ideas. Good friends these days are a blessing. And before you know it, you’re calling them up every day after college and hitting cafes and pubs together. And then one day, all of a sudden, without any warning, in an odd, unexpected hour of a chilly night, it happens. 

Money

Managing finances in student life is a bitter-sweet experience. Firstly you don't realize the spending because you take it from your parents and it looks like easy money. After a while, you start to acknowledge your expenses and shy away from asking your parents for money every now and then. And that is my friend called Adulting. Welcome to the other side of college life where you actually start to worry about your finances and start investing maybe too.

Grades

They all say grades don't matter and all, but we all know deep down that they do matter. Whenever you are applying to a college for a master's or an internship first thing that you need to put is your grades. Getting and maintaining good grades need a little hard work and a lot of smart work and consistency. Managing time is the key here. Just make sure to prioritize things and give the due time and effort to each task you do. 

Internships

Internships have become an integral part of the college life experience. They help you prepare for the actual job and environment you are going to face in the real world once you are out of college. If done right these internships can help you immensely. Not only they would help you hone your skills and learn new things but they are like a demo of what actually lies ahead of you. Based on the internship experience you can actually judge if you want to sign up for a particular job that looked really nice from the outside but isn't, or you can be sure about that is the job you would want to do based on the internship venture. But grabbing a good internship is a task in itself. You don't want to waste your time getting coffee for the boss and learn nothing. You need to make sure that is time you invest is a good investment indeed.
